The latest release in the New World Series provides a journey inspired by one of the world's greatest tobacco-growing regions. The all Nicaraguan blend is mostly from AJ Fernandez Dorado farm, which he aptly named due to its golden texture and taste. The Dorado is the fifth release of the New World brand, which was started by AJ Fernandez and his father Isamel.
Dorado is Spanish for gold, the is cigar named for one of AJ's Nicaraguan estates where the soil is an uncharacteristically light-brown, golden color. A Cuban-seed wrapper and a Criollo '98 binder from the Dorado farm are blended with additional long-fillers from Condega and Esteli. A tangy, medium-bodied zest layers the palate with a hint of sweetness from the wrapper. Toasted nuts, baking spices, pepper and wood notes make this cigar a complex journey from start to finish.
