CLE Eiroa Dark Natural Christian Eiroa's latest line will use high priming corojo tobacco. The name is Dark, a reference to the fact that the leaves used for this release are from higher primings, and as such, naturally darker than other parts of the plant once they have finished processing. ''Because the leaves are higher on the plant, they are richer and once fermented they yield a darker shade,'' said Christian Eiroa, the founder of CLE, in a letter to retailers. ''The only appropriate name for these cigars is (Dark) due to their color and the fact we do not add anything to the wrappers to yield these colors.'' The cigars will have more body than the typical Eiroa line. The binder and filler are also Honduran corojo.
