Born in 1875 in a small Hungarian village, Julius Newman and his family sailed across the Atlantic in 1888 in search of the American Dream. With no middle name, Julius was required to choose one before workers could complete his entry paperwork. He solicited help from the attendant who suggested Caesar, after the great Roman leader, but due to a typo by the attendant Caeser was spelled with an "e". Thus, Julius Caeser Newman was born.
