A slow-aged, dark San Andres Maduro wrapper envelopes the blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos inside the Emilio AF1, and in true AJ Fernandez (blender) fashion the construction and burn are phenomenal. Once lit the AF1 treats the smoker to an immensely enjoyable bouquet of thick dark cocoa, roasted nut, caramel, creamy coffee/espresso and a hint of sweet raisin with a lingering spice. Full-bodied, complex, balanced and full-flavored, the AF1 is an outstanding cigar.
