Upmann partners with Jose Mendez to pay tribute to the oldest and mosticonic Dominican tobacco process indigenous to the island of Hispaniola, byincorporating andullo tobacco in the filler, as well as exploring different regions andtobacco varieties from the Dominican Republic. The result is a full-flavored, mediumto full bodied cigar with a strength and rich aroma ever seen in any other tobacco.H. Upmann Hispaniola serves as a continuation to the collaboration series, after thelaunch of H. Upmann Nicaragua by AJ and H. Upmann Connecticut by Grupo deMaestros, following the characteristic color blocking scheme.
