Las Calaveras is the highly anticipated annual Crowned Heads release that began in 2014, and pays a respectful homage to those who have passed away in the previous year. It is our intent that Las Calaveras will be seen as a celebration of life and remembrance, rather than a mournful symbol of sadness and death.
The 2020 installment of the limited edition Las Calaveras series is here! This years release features an Ecuadorian habano oscuro wrapper with Nicaraguan wrapper binder and filler.
Each release (and this happens to be the 7th) is a unique blend that comes out of the My Father Cigars factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. Jon Huber has said ?We felt that this year was time for a hard reset of sorts, in that we are scaling total production back to the original release numbers of only 1,000 boxes per vitola.
