An extension to the popular My Father line, Le Bijou (French for "the jewel") 1922 is a rich, medium to full-bodied cigar made in honor of the birth year of Jose Pepin's father. Deviating from the core My Father line in its use of an Ecuadorian-grown Pelo de Oro Habano Oscuro wrapper and featuring a hearty mix of Nicaraguan long-fillers and binder, the Le Bijou 1922 is a robust but smooth cigar.
Flavors of sweet cream, butter and wood with subtle sharp dark chocolate, strong tobacco and spice, oak, charred meat, mint and dry cocoa can be found throughout this refined and complex cigar. Using French for the name is quite apt - the elegant balance in flavors from their cooking are a perfect description for the flavors found within this cigar.
We know that you will love smoking these as much as we do, and at first light will recognize why this cigar was chosen as one of Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 Cigars of the Year just a few years ago, and the Number One cigar in 2015!
