Tatuaje is once again offering its La Riqueza line to retailers, but this time, it's a limited edition, available only for a short period. The La Riqueza SE 2024 comes in two distinct versions, both using a 6 3/4 x 44 Cazadores vitola, and is a modified blend of the original La Riqueza series. This year's release features two unique wrapper options:
La Riqueza SE 2024: Connecticut Broadleaf Rosado Wrapper
La Riqueza SE 2024 Tuxtla: Mexican San Andr?s Wrapper
Both cigars share the same binder and filler, which are made with premium Nicaraguan tobaccos. Like other Tatuaje cigars, they are crafted at the My Father Cigars S.A. factory in Nicaragua.
Tatuaje introduced La Riqueza in 2008, and over the years, the line has grown to include 13 different vitolas. In 2017, Tatuaje temporarily removed La Riqueza from its regular production lineup, though it wasn?t fully discontinued. The La Riqueza SE made its debut at the 2021 PCA Convention & Trade Show, marking the first time the brand introduced a modified version of the original blend.
The 2024 editions continue the tradition of limited, high-quality releases, with Pete Johnson, founder of Tatuaje, confirming the plan to release a new La Riqueza SE version every two years.
