Viva Republica's Ivy was inspired by Viva founder Jason Holly's days at Harvard, and the times he spent relaxing with a gorgeous smoke in Harvard Yard. It has an Ecuadorian Habano Corojo wrapper, a double binder of Cameroon and Dominican tobaccos, and Dominican Cibao, Nicaraguan Esteli, and Nicaraguan Condega filler tobaccos. Instead of being power-forward like many of the other Viva Republica blends, this has a smooth, aged tobacco profile (each leaf has been aged for a minimum of five years) with nuanced flavors and complexity only found in old school cigars!
