KRISTOFF JT Signature Series In 2019 Kristoff Cigars began rolling out a cigar known as the Kristoff JT Signature Series. The name JT stands for Jarrid Trudeau, who is the Vice President of Sales at Kristoff Cigars. It's a project that was spearheaded by Trudeau and it's one that has been introduced to market in a unique way. The JT Signature Series is a cigar a retailer can get by having an event with Trudeau. Once the event is complete, the retailer has the right to carry the cigar on an ongoing basis. Today we dive deeper and take a closer look at the Kristoff JT Signature Series.
The JT Signature Series is actually the second Signature Series cigar. It joins the Kristoff GC Signature Series, which is the cigar name for Kristoff Cigars owner Glen Case. The JT Signature Series is also one of the few box-pressed cigars that Kristoff has offered. The other box-pressed cigars are the discontinued Kristoff Galerones Intensivo and the recently released Kristoff San Andres Box Press Toro which was an exclusive offering to the Tobacconist Association of America (TAA) as a part of its 2020 Exclusive Series.
Like most Kristoff blends, the JT Signature Series is a multi-national one. It features an Ecuadorian HVA (Havana Vuelta Abajo) wrapper over a Sumatra binder and a combination of Mexican and Dominican fillers. Production is handled at the Charles Fairmorn factory a factory that has produced the lion's share of Kristoff's blends over the years.
